Request Credits

A Request Credit is EdgeShift’s unit of ongoing delivery.

Definition (1 credit)

1 Request Credit = 1 PR + 1 preview URL + a deployable change, including:

• Up to 2 review rounds
• Up to 2 hours of engineering
• Uses existing components/patterns (minor CSS OK)
• No net-new third-party integrations
• No major data model changes
• Basic QA and deployment

When it’s not 1 credit

It becomes multiple credits or a mini-sprint if it:

• Needs multiple PRs or a refactor
• Requires more than 2 review rounds
• Adds a new integration or complex dynamic behavior
• Requires new design system primitives
• Requires “pixel-perfect builder parity” work

Examples

• Copy/image/meta/redirect tweak → 1 credit
• New landing page using existing sections → 1–2 credits
• New component + new page → 2–4 credits
• Net-new integration/feature → mini-sprint
